In our line of work we love to create memories.
Most of the time we do private tours for people who want to learn about the locals in East Iceland, see the stunning nature of our region. But sometimes we get requests to help people to create memories that end up as an adventure.
Last year we got an email from Alberto. He reached out to us and had a request for another kind of tour. He and two others wanted to get to Dalatangi lighthouse in Mjóifjörður one way. Most of the time we drive our guests back to their hotel, cruise ship and etc.
They had been planning their own adventure. In short they had planned to travel straight over the country from Dalatangi lighthouse in East Iceland to Dalatangi in West Iceland.
Their plan would take them over the highlands.
We were fortunate enough to help them out and Alberto sent us a couple of pictures to share with you.
It is our passion to create memories with those who want to travel with us and we are grateful for that they chose East Highlanders to help them create memories in Iceland even though it was only for one part of the day.
