Enjoy the softer side of East Iceland on this private 4-hour tour from Seyðisfjörður to Vök Baths – a peaceful geothermal bathing experience on the edge of Lake Urriðavatn.
Our journey begins with pickup at Seyðisfjörður Cruise Port, followed by a short drive to Gufufoss, one of the most beautiful waterfalls near the town.
This easy photo stop gives you a first taste of the dramatic fjord landscape before we continue over Fjarðarheiði mountain pass.
As we travel from the steep mountains of Seyðisfjörður toward the inland area around Egilsstaðir, your local guide will share stories about the region, the landscape, and everyday life in East Iceland.
The main experience of the tour is Vök Baths, where warm geothermal pools float on the lake and offer a calm, relaxing way to enjoy Icelandic nature. You will have time to unwind in the baths, take in the views, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere at your own pace.
Your guide will assist with check-in and confirm the meeting time for the return journey.
Please note that the guide does not enter the baths with guests.
After your time at Vök Baths, we return directly to Seyðisfjörður Cruise Port.
The tour is planned around your ship’s schedule, with a safe return buffer.

Traveler pickup is offered in Seyðisfjörður and Egilsstaðir, including Seyðisfjörður harbour, Egilsstaðir Airport and selected accommodation in both areas.
This is a private tour. Your driver-guide will meet you at the agreed pickup location.
For cruise passengers arriving in Seyðisfjörður, pickup is planned around the ship schedule. Please provide your cruise ship name.
For other pickup points, please contact us before booking.
Return details
Returns to the original departure point in Seyðisfjörður or Egilsstaðir.
