This private tour is tailored to depart from Djúpivogur harbour or your accommodation in Djúpivogur.

Visit Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon on a private 8-hour shore excursion from Djúpivogur. This tour is designed for cruise passengers with enough time in port who want to experience one of Iceland’s most iconic natural sights with a local guide and private transport.

Your local guide will meet you in Djúpivogur and take you along the South East Coast toward the glacier region. Along the way, you can enjoy quiet fjords, mountain views, coastal landscapes and selected photo stops depending on weather, timing and road conditions.

The main highlight of the tour is Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where floating icebergs drift through the lagoon below Vatnajökull glacier. If timing and conditions allow, we may also make a short stop at the nearby Diamond Beach.

This is a long private shore excursion and is only suitable for cruise ships with enough time in port. Pickup and return are planned carefully around your ship schedule. Please make sure to provide your cruise ship name, arrival time and departure time when booking.

This tour does not have a fixed public departure time. Pickup is arranged according to your cruise ship schedule and confirmed after booking.

The route, stops and available time at each location may be adjusted depending on weather, road conditions, timing and available time. Returning to Djúpivogur in good time before ship departure is always our priority.

A boat tour on Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is not included in the tour price.

Please bring warm layers, a waterproof jacket, comfortable shoes, snacks or a packed lunch if desired, and a camera or phone for photos. Bottled water is included.

Meals, drinks, boat tours, travel insurance and personal expenses are not included.

This is a private tour. Your driver-guide will meet you at the agreed pickup location.
