In a small group of up to four passengers, you'll travel in a super jeep to the reindeer park, where you'll meet reindeer that were rescued in 2021. Your expert guide will share insights into the history of reindeer in the region, their behavior, and their importance to the region's culture and economy. You'll also have the opportunity to feed and interact with the reindeer up close.
Next, you'll visit the wilderness center in Fljótsdalur, where you'll delve into the lives of the people who once thrived in this challenging environment. Learn about their traditions, customs, and ways of life, and gain a deeper understanding of the region's unique heritage.
To conclude your adventure, you'll savor a taste of local cuisine, either a hearty soup or sweet treat, depending on the time of day.

This 4-5 hour tour includes easy walks through the wilderness and insightful storytelling by your guide. There is also a possibility that you will see wild reindeer on route while driving, but it is not guaranteed.
